The Mediating Effects of Organizational Commitment on Leadership Styles and Employee Performance in SOEs in Ghana: A Structural Equation Modeling Analysis

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects organizational commitment on leadership styles (transformational, transactional and laissez-faire) subordinate performance in state-owned enterprises Ghana. adopted partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) test hypotheses model. has been tested with 330 respondents. data have validated by use measurement modeling determine internal consistency reliability (CR) convergent validity (CV) SmartPLS 3.0. results indicate that mediates transformational laissez-faire leadership. It also found a statistically positive significant relationship job at p < .05 while proved insignificant. implication leaders should know any action improve take into account appropriate behavior. Also, human development training be instituted shape present future needs enterprise. In furtherance this, provides discussions findings, limitations went propose directions for research.
